In a report by Sin Chew Daily, Loh revealed he was notified about the matter via email.
“Do you think a termination letter via email is official? I will wait until I receive one,” he told the Chinese daily.
However, Loh said he could still be found at his service centre if the people wanted to air their grouses or help with other matters.
He also said despite calls for him to step down as an assemblyman, there were those who wanted him to stay on.
“I have yet to make up my mind,” he said, adding he would mull over his next move, including whether or not to remain with DAP, once he receives an official letter.
DAP decided to sack Loh for alleged misuse of public funds allocated to his constituency of Teluk Datuk, Banting.
He was found guilty after a disciplinary hearing.
Loh was elected to the assembly in 2013, polling 13,155 votes, for a majority of 5,391 against Barisan Nasional’s Tan Cheng Chai.
