PETALING JAYA:
Selangor DAP lodged a report against state assemblyman Loh Chee Heng with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission on Wednesday, the party said today.

Loh was expelled from the party today after a disciplinary committee hearing. The committee said there was “evidence of serious misconduct”.

Selangor DAP chairman Tony Pua said the state leadership had received complaints from members alleging “improprieties with regards to his constituency allocations”.

An internal investigation was conducted over the past eight weeks and the findings were presented to the disciplinary committee. At the same time, DAP Selangor filed a report with the MACC in Shah Alam on Wednesday, Pua said.

The disciplinary committee said Loh was expelled after he had been heard by the committee today.

Pua said the party would not tolerate any actions by members which betrayed the trust of the people.
