He will be assisted by three deputy chief ministers (DCMs). They are Bukit Saban assemblyman Douglas Uggah, Baleh assemblyman Dr James Jemut Masing and Satok assemblyman Abang Johari Tun Openg.
Uggah has also been appointed Minister of Modernisation of Agriculture and Rural Economy while Masing, who is former state Land Development Minister, is now the Minister of Infrastructure Development and Transportation.
Abang Johari also assumes the posts of Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture as well as Minister of Housing and Urbanisation.
Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) President and Batu Kawah assemblyman Sim Kui Hian has been appointed as Minister of Local Government while former United People’s Party president and Bawang Assan assemblyman Wong Soon Koh is Second Minister of Finance.
Tebedu assemblyman Michael Manyin Jawong is Minister of Youth and Sports and Solidarity.
Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, who won the Bukit Sari seat uncontested, is the Minister of Industrial and Entrepreneur Development, Trade and Investment.
The sole woman in the Cabinet, Fatimah Abdullah, who is Dalat assemblywoman, has been appointed as Minister of Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing.
Sarawak Barisan Nasional Secretary-General and Kemena assemblyman Stephen Rundi Utom has been appointed as Minister of Public Utilities.
Adenan said he would appoint the assistant ministers in due course.
