
Vida Beauty owner Dr Hasmiza Othman had earlier voiced her disappointment over the performance of the football team.
This then led to her hinting that she may consider ending her sponsorship of the team.
In a report in Utusan Malaysia today, Dr Hasmiza (or Datuk Vida as she is more commonly known as) set this new condition before she makes a final decision.
“If the players can give a positive result in the next two matches, I will reconsider my intention to withdraw my sponsorship,” she had said to the Malay daily.
Datuk Vida created headlines when she signed on to become the main sponsor of The Red Warriors with a projected sponsorship of RM16 million spanning two seasons.
Among the conditions that came with her sponsorship was the team’s name would be changed to Pamoga Qu Puteh The Red Warriors.
Kelantan is scheduled to meet Felda United next on May 4 in Jengka, followed by Selangor on May 18 in Shah Alam.
