“It is not going to happen. I’m loyal to the people,” the former Sarawak PKR vice-chairman told FMT today, quashing rumours that he was going to jump ship.
Boniface, however, was tight lipped about his next move.
Earlier today, it was reported that Boniface submitted his resignation on April 17, after PKR failed to secure the Tasik Biru seat for him in the upcoming state election.
DAP will now contest against BN direct candidate Henry Harry Jinep.
Boniface said DAP got the nod to contest the seat despite PKR naming him as candidate and a public poll showing that PKR enjoyed more support in Tasik Biru.
He added that PKR had also failed to secure a nomination for him to contest in the 13th General Election in 2013 as the Mas Gading parliamentary seat was given to DAP.
