Last Friday, PH Chief Secretary Saifuddin Abdullah said that the coalition may not contest all 82 seats, as PAS was interested in contesting 11 seats in the state.
“If other Opposition parties like PAS want to contest, then we won’t rule out not contesting in all 82 seats,” Saifuddin said.
Chief Minister of Sarawak Adenan Satem said today that BN candidates for the state election will be confirmed next month.
Adenan added he had also sorted out most of the problems affecting the state BN component parties, except for a few involving Teras and UPP.
