According to a Borneo Post Online report, PKR’s Baram chairman Roland Engan in a press statement, congratulated Dennis Ngau on his renomination.

“I am glad that as Christians, both of us will be able to bring a new chapter into the lives of thousands of people in Telang Usan through our friendship, despite being opponents in politics,” he said, adding since there was no personal issues between them, they could focus on their respective campaigns and debate on issues affecting the people.

Roland said he also believed Dennis would appreciate if they both worked hard and together for Telang Usan despite being on opposite sides of the political divide.

He also voiced hope for a fair and clean election campaign and whoever won would put the people’s interests first.
