Wheelchair bound man among first to arrive at SK Klang Gate to vote

Ameen Yee’s son says his father woke up at 6am and couldn’t wait to vote.

GOMBAK:
A wheelchair bound elderly man was among the first to arrive at SK Klang Gate to cast his ballot for the Hulu Kelang assembly seat.

Ameen Yee, 56, was accompanied by his wife Noraini Ibrahim, 57, and their son Faizul Azhar, 36.

“He woke up at 6am today and is eager to play his part as a voter. We came very early as I have other matters to attend to later,” said Faizul.

The seat will see a straight fight between PN’s Azmin Ali and PH’s Juwairiya Zulkifli.
