PETALING JAYA: Umno Youth chief Akmal Saleh claims that Afiq Amani Annuar leaving the party would not have a significant impact on Umno’s leadership, saying it is considered a norm in politics.
He, however, took a swipe at Afiq, saying that real leaders stay loyal to their party in difficult times, not only when things are going smoothly.
Akmal was quoted by Utusan Malaysia as saying that Ketereh Umno Youth deputy chief Azhan Ishak will take over to lead the division following Afiq’s departure.
