PETALING JAYA: Victory for the PH-BN alliance in the state elections in Selangor, Penang and Negeri Sembilan alone may not be enough to dispel talk about instability surrounding the unity government, said an analyst.
Ahmad Fauzi Abdul Hamid from Universiti Sains Malaysia said it was just as important to gauge the extent of PN’s penetration into the three states before dismissing such talk.
“If PN gains support in the three states, this means that there’s a definite swing of votes away from PH-BN,” he told FMT.
