Onigirazu is a cross between an onigiri and a sandwich, and this version comes with a piece of fried chicken wrapped with Japanese rice and of course, delicious salted egg sauce.
The Golden Egg Combo Sandwich is perfect for those who can’t decide if they want egg or chicken in their sandwich, so in this case, you can have the best of both.
The Salted Egg Chicken pasta tastes best after heating it up in an oven for one and a half minutes, as it will give you almost-instant gratification.
For those who love lor mai kai, the Claypot Chicken and Mushroom Donburi has a taste that is actually very close to it, which unsurprisingly, makes it one of their best-sellers. Having it with a bit of chili sauce may enhance the taste, but it tastes awesome as is.
There’s always room for dessert, so be sure to try their strawberry and mango peach croissants, both of which may not look like your typical French pastry but taste rather good!
Pop them into the toaster oven for about three minutes, which is enough time to warm up the pastry but leave the sweet fruity fillings still slightly cold, giving it a nice contrast. This is best served with coffee, which of course you can conveniently get from myNEWS as well.
Additionally, ice cream fans will be happy to know that Maru Kafe also offers some delicious soft-serve desserts in milk, chocolate, or mixed flavour. Time to scream for some ice cream!
