Its appeal is easy to see: the freedom to toss almost anything into a bubbling broth, creating a meal both hearty and personal. And local restaurant FU Pot puts an elevated nautical twist on this mealtime staple.
With its signature Crab King Pot, diners are invited to indulge in a luxurious spread of gourmet seafood, all simmered in a rich, flavourful broth that captures the essence of the sea in every spoonful.
With its sophisticated décor, warm hospitality, and elevated approach to gastronomy, the eatery promises a truly FU-lfilling FU-sion of flavours, which will delight diners of every taste and temperament.

FU Pot first came into being in 2022, the brainchild of a group of local friends who wanted to create their own premium hotpot experience.
They named their restaurant after the Chinese word “FU”, a traditional cauldron or kettle for boiling meat, vegetables, seafood and more.
Located within Menara TS Law, FU Pot first gained popularity among the office crowd before word of its delicious dishes spread, drawing in a wider and more diverse clientele.
It was one of only four Malaysian restaurants to receive the esteemed Black Pearl Award, a distinction granted by Shanghai’s Black Pearl Restaurant Guide to Asian dining establishments that embody exceptional quality, service, innovation, and cultural significance.
The first thing one usually notices upon setting foot in the restaurant is how grandly adorned the space is. Rich Chinese motifs, from intricate lattice panels to elegant gold accents evoke a sense of timeless splendour.

FU Pot features an open dining area with nine tables, as well as eight private rooms seating four to 26. Each comes with its very own karaoke system, which allows one to literally sing for their supper.
Food-wise there’s plenty to enjoy here. All the classic hotpot meat and vegetable selections are available, and beloved Asian dishes such as Tycoon Fried Rice, Braised Yee Mee with Black Truffle, and FU Wagyu Beef Platters are all present. You can also pre-order live seafood.
Highlights include the Cantonese-style stir-fried Yuan Yang, a simple yet deeply savoury noodle dish.
There’s also the Mala Crispy Popcorn Chicken, an addictive appetiser of tender, bite-sized chicken pieces coated in a fragrant mala seasoning. Its spice level is perfectly balanced: flavourful yet not-too-spicy on the taste buds.

The Meatball Platters make an excellent addition to any hotpot, a delightful assortment featuring black truffle prawn, pork mushroom, and squid mentaiko.
The crown jewel of the restaurant’s menu, however, is undoubtedly its acclaimed Crab King Pot, a lavish tribute to the generous bounty of the sea.
Fresh flower crabs, plump tiger prawns, tender abalone, and juicy clams are simmered in a rich pork bone broth, with chunks of taro gently thickening the soup and lending it a subtle, almost meaty richness.
The result is a truly delicious delight which beautifully melds the distinctive tang of crustacean flavour with the brininess of the sea. If you feel like something different, FU Pot also provides a variety of hotpot soups such as premium chicken soup, truffle mushroom soup, Da Hong Pao mala soup, and tomato soup.

Once the hotpot ingredients are consumed, diners can add rice and eggs into the soup to create a delicious seafood porridge. It’s a highly satisfying way to conclude a meal here.
While FU Pot impresses with its lavish interiors and premium ingredients, it truly shines in providing a warm, inviting space where friends and family can gather and share a meal.
Its Crab King Pot is a triumph, a hearty dish that’s truly a crab-tivating creation.
