
Based on the true story of Michael Tong, the film – slated for an August release – follows a Chinese man who adopts three Malay boys and raises them as his own.
While the CNY trailer highlighted how the family learns and adapts to each other’s cultures, the Raya version – titled “Balik Rayaaahhh!” – celebrates the joy of reunions and the significance of traditional kampung bonds.
