Going by the social media handle T-Man, he is a dedicated paediatrician by day and a photographer with a mission by night, capturing the beauty of nature through his lens so he can help support children.
T-Man sells his photographs as tote bags, fridge magnets, puzzles and more, donating the proceeds to NGOs that help children and families in need.
With over 8,000 Instagram followers, his story is more than just a desire to do good – it’s a personal one, born from a heartbreaking loss.
When FMT Lifestyle reached out to T-Man to share his story, he had one request: to remain anonymous. “The focus should be on the work and the cause, not the person. Plus, I’m quite introverted and don’t like the attention,” he added.

“My youngest sister was diagnosed with end-stage renal failure at just 10 years old,” he revealed. “She fought bravely for six years before passing away in 2014. That was rock bottom for me.” Yet, it also became the spark that inspired his career in medicine.
Born in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan, T-Man began his medical career in 2015, doing his housemanship in Kuching. Working there and witnessing the healthcare challenges in rural areas was life-changing for him.
“I grew up in Seremban, but the years I spent in Sarawak really moulded me, not just as a doctor, but as a person.” This is why two of the NGOs he donates to are based in Sarawak: S.O.S KIDS Kuching and the Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society.
Reflecting on his career, T-Man said: “What I love most about my job? The innocent kids. It was very physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding. But it was inspiring to see that even after enduring pain, many of them still smile and play.”

While his medical career flourished, another passion quietly took root. From a young age, T-Man was captivated by the night sky and astronomy. “I’ve always loved stargazing. I find it very peaceful,” he said.
Over time, this fascination grew into a love for astrophotography and landscape photography. “I was inspired by social media and some renowned Malaysian photographers,” he explained.
“In 2021, I finally saved up for a camera – a second-hand one. Working as a doctor doesn’t pay as well as people think,” he added. Starting with mobile photography, he gradually honed his skills, capturing what he calls the “beauty in chaos.”
A glance at his Instagram profile, and it’s clear he loves all things nature.
The idea to turn his photography into a fundraising effort began during a workplace sports carnival. “At first, sales were slow, but when I moved to Shopee, things picked up.” With every sale, T-Man donates his profits to children-focused NGOs.

Talking about the role NGOs played when his sister was ill, T-Man shared: “I have grown up with the community that was helped a lot by them. I saw how impactful they were, providing not just financial aid but emotional support to families.”
While he is currently focused on these NGOs, he added that if his efforts gain traction, he would love to contribute to many more around the country. “Having been on both sides, I can swear every little bit does make a difference.”
The most rewarding part of this venture for T-man, is the ability to connect with people on two very different yet deeply human levels.
“As a paediatrician, I get to care for children, and make a difference in their lives. Through photography, I capture moments that evoke emotion, tell stories, and inspire reflection. When I use my photography to fundraise for children in need, it feels like both passions come full circle.”
The project is still in its infancy, but T-Man remains hopeful of making a greater impact in time to come.
