The inaugural event starts tomorrow, and builds on The Square’s fifth-year anniversary celebration last year as a dedicated pet-friendly space that fosters a nurturing environment for both animals and pet lovers alike.
Visitors can look forward to programmes and activities curated in collaboration with various pet and lifestyle vendors. Kicking things off this weekend (July 6-7) are a pet fashion competition, a workshop on “Understanding Your Pets’ Love Language” by MeTime Book Café, as well as a pet memorial talk.
Meanwhile, those who would like to expand their family with a furry one should check out the adoption drive and bazaar by the Second Chance Animal Society. And folks with active furkids won’t want to miss the mobile dog gym experience by D’Gym.

Can’t make it this weekend? You can always set your sights on the exciting lineup on subsequent weekends (or make multiple visits, of course!):
July 13-14:
- probiotic workshop and pet health check by Max & Paw;
- Paws & Pals 2.0 pet bazaar by Bazaar & Bustle;
- pet wellness sharing by Himalaya; and
- pet communication session by MeTime Book Café
July 20-21:
- treats workshop by Dogology;
- Urban Retreat 2.0 pet bazaar by Skygazer;
- paw cleansing workshop by MrOrganic;
- essential oils for dogs workshop by MeTime Book Café
July 27-28:
- homecare product workshop by Shibui;
- a reprise of the Paws & Pals 2.0 pet bazaar by Bazaar & Bustle; and
- pet communication and reiki health scanning by MeTime Book Café.
The festivities will conclude on Sunday, July 28, with a Pet Movie Day, where cinephiles and their four-legged companions will undoubtedly be entertained by a feel-good feature!
Also throughout July, pet owners are invited to enjoy exclusive perks with The Square’s pet-friendly dining promotion, which offers 10-15% off their total bill when dining with their furkids at select restaurants including Sangkaya, Nan Yang Chicken Rice, Three Stooges, Rockafellers and more.
Last year, Jaya One digital content executive Jack Moi told FMT Lifestyle that The Square is “built on the fundamental beliefs and principles of championing animal welfare and promoting responsible pet ownership in the community”.
He added that the commercial centre had been working with pet shelters, rescue groups and non-profit communities in the country to rehome more than 2,000 pets over the past 15 years.
