When Magdelene Yeon found out that Misha, her three-year-old Wooly Husky was pregnant, she was elated. She had been waiting for this moment ever since Misha took a liking to a handsome male Siberian Husky two years ago.
But Misha was playing hard to get and it took quite a number of pet dates and doggie romance before the pups were finally on the way.
Thankfully, she had a smooth pregnancy, lapping up the home-cooked chicken essence that her fur-mum served her every day. So happy was she to finally be a mother that she even had “a softer expression on her face”, Yeon said.
The big day arrived and Misha delivered five beautiful and bubbly pups. Sadly, the eldest pup – a male – didn’t survive.
Despite the loss, Misha continued to care for her other pups and was, according to Yeon, a model mom considering her dominant and playful personality.

“She became very tender and was very protective of her puppies. Even though they nursed until her nipples were sore, she didn’t stop them and also cleaned them right after.”
There were also nights when the pups kept their mother awake. And although fatigued from nursing them all day long, Misha remained patient and loving with them.
Just like any new mother, Misha needed her “me time” every now and then. But although she would sneak away from her babies occasionally, she’d have one watchful eye on them the entire time.
Later, when they were older, Yeon decided to keep the female puppies and gave the male puppies to her “in-law” – a cheeky name she gave to the fur-mum of Misha’s partner!
The 3M girls : a boisterous trio

Five years on, Misha lives happily with her two daughters, Mila and McQueen. The puppies are all grown up now and as beautiful as their mother.
Mila, the older sister, inherited her mom’s playful personality while McQueen is an affectionate girl who is generous with her kisses. Just like her mother, McQueen is bi-eyed – she has one brown eye and one blue eye.
The trio, Yeon shared, have a close relationship, and especially enjoy chasing each other around the lawn.
Besides playing with each other, the girls also love to swim. But, if there is one thing that they’re not fond of, it’s being separated from each other.

“When they go for their grooming sessions, if I bring either one of them home first, the others will start making noise.”
For Yeon, seeing Misha embrace motherhood so naturally has been a wonderful experience. “She fulfilled my dreams because I am single, and I like kids. And she has brought me on an amazing journey.”

Misha also inspired her to open a dog boarding facility in Bandar Mahkota Cheras in 2019 called ShaShaLand Paw Haus. It is named after Misha.
“I am just so proud when I see how she has bloomed into a wonderful mother,” she shared, adding that the girls have brought her a lot of joy.
