Somayeh Ahani, a tailor suffering from a respiratory disease, launched a sewing workshop to produce medical equipment to help Iran cope with shortages.

Zahra said that although she was fearful of the disease, her daughter, and the experience of her nurse friends, made her want to contribute to keep people safe.

Gathering at the mosque helped her remember the old days during the war.

Meanwhile, Aniesh Khademi leaves her two disabled children at home with their father to help work on this sewing project.
