The local unit rises to 3.9705/3.9760 as sentiment continues to revolve around a highly elusive US-Iran resolution.

KUALA LUMPUR:
The ringgit opened slightly higher against the US dollar on Tuesday as market sentiment continued to focus on developments in the Middle East.

At 8am, the local unit rose to 3.9705/3.9760 against the greenback from Monday’s close of 3.9720/3.9770.
