Starting this month, EQ Kuala Lumpur’s Sabayon is the restaurant to do just that now that they’re hosting the Rothschild Sunday Brunch every week from 12pm to 3pm for all in the family.

At RM228 for adults and RM98 for children aged six to twelve, guests can enjoy unlimited servings with a free flow of drinks.
The menu includes cold and hot dishes, carved meat selections, desserts and a free flow of non-alcoholic drinks. For adults looking to indulge, a free flow of select alcoholic beverages goes for RM200 per head.

And if you have more refined tastes that crave for only the best, a free flow of Barons de Rothschild champagne can be enjoyed for RM350.
Sabayon’s Chef de Cuisine Jonathan Heng said, “At Sabayon, we have a smart casual dress code and age restriction of 12 and above only.
“Just on Sunday afternoons, children of all ages are welcome to Sabayon. It is wonderful to see the atmosphere here so lively with family gatherings and celebrations.”

Not to mention, the menu, as excellent as it already is, will be updated and added to every month to include imported and seasonal dishes.
So, for now, what can guests expect to feast on with a glass of bubbly in hand?
For starters, there’s the Gallagher Oysters, served with classic mignonette sauce and a slice of lemon.

Gallagher oysters are highly prized, harvested as they are from a pristine stream in Ireland. They are world-famous for their sweet flesh with its mellow, sometimes smoky taste.
The caviar selection is as tempting as it is varied and includes T’Lur Caviar, Golden Trout Caviar, Russian Pike Caviar and Wild Salmon Caviar served atop tiny Russian pancakes with a dollop of sour cream, a sprinkling of chives, and a flourish of egg white, egg yolk and shallots.

Your choices for the main course are exquisite – Beetroot Cured Ocean Trout, Foie Gras Terrine and Truffle Egg Royale.
The ocean trout is a feast for the eyes as much as it is for the taste buds, taking on a festive deep pink hue thanks to a beetroot cure.
Ah, foie gras, the pride of France! Here it is prepared to highlight its pure flavours, gently filled into a terrine mould and cooked in a water bath.

The Truffle Egg Royale bears some resemblance to Chinese steamed eggs but with a sophisticated twist, served under a canopy of luscious truffles.
Cheese aficionados meanwhile will be thrilled at the selection Sabayon has to offer – Roquefort, Brie, Sainte-Maure, Parmigiano-Reggiano, Petit Basque, Gouda and Sarawak Goat.

For a traditional English luncheon, have a go at a hearty carving of prime rib served alongside Yorkshire Pudding, artisan vegetables, Sauce Bearnaise and Beef Jus.
But if you are a fan of all things seafood, you can tuck into the Nova Scotia Lobster Thermidor, Pan-Seared Hokkaido Scallops, Blue Mussels in White Wine and Soy Marinated Skrei Cod.

Fresh as though caught from the sea minutes earlier, these delectable delights will put a zing into your lazy Sunday.
Leave some room for dessert though as the Art at the Table is a spectacle in itself that cannot be missed.
Served in front of you, the dessert is plated directly on the table right before your very eyes.

Watch mesmerised as swirls of mango, vanilla, dark chocolate and strawberry sauces are painted across the board, then splattered with coconut snow, chocolate soil and pistachio powder.
Strawberry and cinnamon macarons, apple pralines, mango truffles, passion coconut tartlets and matcha choux are then added to complete this captivating masterpiece.
It’s time to treat yourself and your loved ones to a fancy lunch in the clouds, with a beautiful view of Kuala Lumpur at your feet.
