Joson Numismatic Collections takes a step into the past with its wide range of collectables, from bank notes and coins to advertising and stamps.

Joson Numismatic Collections in Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Melaka is a treasure trove of old banknotes, coins, stamps, vintage advertising and other collectables for sale.

The Jonker Street area has long been known for its antique, bric-a-brac and collectables shops, as well as traditional craftsmen such as sign painters, chop makers and shoemakers.

Over the years, most of these have either gone out of business or been pushed out of their prime location by higher rents.

Fortunately, some, like Joson and Wah Aik, the bound foot shoe shop, have survived and relocated to nearby Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock (Heeren Street).
