The “Grandparents, Parents & Children’s Fair” is being held at Everyday Mall @USJ One Subang Jaya soon. The fair celebrates the achievements of grandparents, the contributions of parents and the role of children in a forward-looking society.
Over 300 exhibitors will showcase resources, products and services geared to all generations of your family. This is Malaysia’s first fair focused on families and it is the country’s biggest event for all generations.
One aim of the fair is the health and wellness of your parents and grandparents. As an ageing society, Malaysia must do more to ensure the elderly are better served, particularly related to healthcare, housing, and greater societal issues such as combating loneliness.
A plethora of companies and related organisations are featuring products, services and resources geared to help you address issues affecting your elderly loved ones.
Also shared is healthy eating for all three generations including proper food and nutrition for pregnant mothers, babies and people with a variety of diseases including diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure.
Other topics and exhibits of interest address organic food, weight loss or weight gain, nutrition and healthy food for your elderly.
Skincare, fitness and slimming, particularly for grandparents and parents, is another highlight to look out for during the exhibition.
A variety of products, services and information impart strategies for dermatology and skin treatment, fitness products and gyms, haircare products and address hair loss issues among others.
Family togetherness and activities for three generations is an important part of this fair. Activity options for all three generations are offered.
In addition, a number of travel and tour companies are on hand to discuss unique travel options such as farm and homestays, eco-tourism, camping, water parks and much more.
Assistive technology, equipment and devices are on display at the fair. Mobility aids such as walkers, wheelchairs, visual and hearing aids, prosthetic devices, orthopaedic devices and cognitive aids are also on offer.
Topics of interest include financial matters and insurance for all three generations, as well as business support and career advancement for parents.
There is also a showcase of products and service for new parents, babies and children. With over 300 booths and an expected 15,000 attendees during this three-day event, this fair is designed to offer resources, information, products and services for the entire family.
