This fantastic new wine bar is located along the row of shops facing Dynasty Garden Condominium at Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park.
What’s even better is that it’s easier to find a parking bay here compared to other spots in this bustling commercial area.

Decorated tastefully, C Chateau carries a good selection of wine from the old world and new world at reasonable price points.
For those who prefer a fancier drink, their in-house bartender will be more than happy to fix your favourite cocktails for you.
However, this is not a yum seng beer-type of place, so mind your manners, people.

On Saturdays, a live band performs on a small stage set up at the side of the bar, giving the place an even more inviting ambience.
Their red and white wines, Butterfly cocktail and classic Gin and Tonic concocted by the bartender come highly recommended.

Like every true Malaysian, those enjoying their drink expect some seriously good food to pair it with and C Chateau does not disappoint.
They have a relatively small menu put together by a creative young chef, but every dish was just as outstanding than the last.
The Fantastic Iberian is essentially Iberico short ribs prepared with a special spice rub and burnt lime. This dish was exceptionally well cooked, and the meat was fall-off-the-bone tender.
While one can’t be faulted for thinking the short-ribs a tad salty and strongly-spiced to enjoy on its own, it was perfect when paired with the wine.
Bello Mello on the other hand is a baked portobello with tomato salsa and pickled onion. This should satisfy anyone who has a weakness for mushrooms.

Another outstanding dish is C Chateau’s Rack and Ruin, pan-seared New Zealand rack of lamb served on a bed of Chinese wine-infused risotto.
The risotto in particular had a rather interesting flavour as the Chinese wine added a different dimension to the dish that was prepared al-dente.
However, the Vietnamese Spring Roll Tempura was hands down the favourite of the night.
Prepared with sweet corn mixed with the usual filling one expects in a spring roll, C Chateau’s version came with a tantalising prawn tempura thrown into the mix. The end result? An explosion of freshness and crunchiness that was truly unforgettable.

Though C Chateau does not have a dessert menu, there was homemade cheesecake to enjoy – and that was a pleasant surprise because it was really good.
Overall, this wine bar has a good ambience and is worth checking out especially if you want to have a relaxing evening without the constant yum seng-ing from neighbouring tables.
