Vincent Tan’s daughter engaged to Naza boss

The couple had known each other since studying in an international school.

It is touted as going to be the Malaysian wedding of the year.

SM Faliq SM Nasimuddin from the Naza Group and Chryseis Tan from the Berjaya Group have announced their engagement.

Chryseis made the declaration through her Instagram, which has more than 120,000 avid followers.

Faliq’s father, the late SM Nasimuddin SM Amin, founded the Naza Group of Companies.

Chryseis is the eldest daughter of 11 children of Vincent Tan, who set up Berjaya Group.

Chryseis is CEO of Berjaya Times Square. Faliq is Naza TTDI Sdn Bhd deputy executive chairman and group managing director.

The two met as students in an international school and had been courting for some time, according to press reports.

In a photo, Faliq, 32, can be seen on one knee proposing to Chryseis, 29. In the background, filled with flowers, are the words: “Will you marry me?”

Faliq is said to have popped the question during a vacation in Marrakesh.
