Missile interception near KEZAD injures six in Abu Dhabi

Three fires broke out near the Khalifa Economic Zones in Abu Dhabi after debris fell from a ballistic missile interception.

ABU DHABI:
Six people were injured after three fires broke out in Abu Dhabi today as a result of debris falling from a ballistic missile interception, the emirate’s media office said.

“All three fires have been controlled and the cooling process is underway,” it added.

Abu Dhabi authorities were dealing with the fires in the vicinity of Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi, or KEZAD, part of Abu Dhabi’s AD Ports Group economic cities and free zones.
