RAMALLAH: At least five Palestinians were killed today in an Israeli attack on Tulkarm in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian health ministry said.
Two were shot dead by Israeli forces today, the ministry said.
Another Palestinian has also died today from injuries sustained after an Israeli attack in the West Bank city of Jenin a few days ago, the Palestinian health ministry said.
The Israeli military says it has been stepping up operations against Palestinian groups in the West Bank. On Thursday, Israel confirmed killing “more than 10” people it called terrorists in raids in Jenin, where several groups have a presence.
