Netanyahu vows to win Israeli snap election

Benjamin Netanyahu is confident his Likud party will win the snap elections, chanting, 'We will win, we will win, and the public will win'.

JERUSALEM:
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today that his conservative Likud party would win a snap Israeli election called after he missed a deadline to form a coalition government.

“We will run a sharp, clear election campaign which will bring us victory. We will win, we will win and the public will win,” Netanyahu told reporters after parliament voted to dissolve itself.

Elections were set for September 17.
