Attractions and activities
1. Husin Fauzi Farm
Located in the heart of Kuala Selangor, Husin Fauzi Farm has over 40 species of animals, and offers a range of activities for children and families to enjoy.
At the petting zoo, visitors can interact with ponies, cows, goats, and rabbits, among many others. Children can go horseback riding and participate in animal feeding.
The farm also offers archery as a fun and exciting activity for all the family.

2. Taman Alam Kuala Selangor
This nature park is home to myriad flora and fauna, including rare species of birds and butterflies. Visitors can take a leisurely walk in the rainforest or along the mangrove trails and bask in the peaceful surroundings.
There are 156 species of birds here, like storks, mangrove blue flycatchers, kingfishers, and black eagles; including 57 migratory birds from as far as Siberia and Russia, such as purple herons and great eagles.
The best time to visit would be from September to April, when the park will serve as a migration point, making it perfect for bird watching. Bring along your binoculars!

3. Kelip-Kelip Kampung Kuantan
This popular attraction is a must-visit for anyone keen on observing the fireflies that inhabit the mangroves here. The “Pteroptyx tener” produces lights simultaneously at a rate of three blinks a second.
From 7.30pm to 10.30pm daily, paddle out into the water aboard a traditional boat to avoid disrupting the habitat and marvel at the awe-inspiring light display.

4. Laluan Seni Pekan Lama
This cultural trail, located in the quaint town of Pekan Lama, is made up of a beautiful path where you can admire 15 heritage-based artworks and murals on the walls of older buildings.
It’s wholly Instagrammable, so come here with your outfit of the day and snap away!
Works include “Bunga Artistik” by Izwan Rahimi, Fendi Rosli and Andy Syafie; and “Lombong Bijih Timah” by the CO2 Mural collective.

5. Masjid Raja Lumu
Masjid Raja Lumu, erected on the site of the former Kuala Selangor Old Mosque, was inaugurated by Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj as the ninth royal mosque in Selangor.
Located at the foot of Melawati Hill close to Kelip-Kelip Kampung Kuantan, it is known for its beautiful modern architecture, copper domes, big archways, and stained glass windows.

6. Sasaran Art Park
This art gallery located in the small fishing village of Sasaran brings the local art community together through various exhibitions and workshops.
Organised by the Sasaran Art Association, artists both internationally and locally are provided an opportunity to showcase their talents. The lineup for its most recent mural project includes Bibichun, Sliz, Ng Kim Heoh, and Jason Teo Jia Hao.
