This little three-year-old kitty is the apple of Rachel Ng’s eye and is the second cat that has won over her kind heart.
“She was an abandoned stray kitten I found crying for several days in a residential area,” said Rachel, as she recalled the fateful day when she first met Chloe.
Admittedly, Rachel wasn’t planning on adopting yet another kitten, but the mere sight of Chloe’s cute demeanour changed her mind completely.
“I had never planned to get another kitten but she was too cute to reject,” said Rachel.

An energetic and spunky calico cat, Chloe has shown herself to be a cheeky and intelligent feline. However, unlike Rachel’s other cats, Chloe does raise a few eyebrows when it’s chow time.
“Chloe loves to eat everything except tuna and she devours her food like a menacing piranha!” exclaimed Rachel.
Being the new kitty on the block, Rachel’s other cats, especially Grey, were quite unamused when Rachel first brought Chloe home.
“Grey was very jealous when I brought Chloe back to meet him. He ignored me for months and I was a little heart-broken by him,” Rachel confessed.
Chloe would occasionally try to play or make friends with Grey but being the lone ranger he is, the pair just never seemed to get along very well.

“Thankfully, for now, they’ve managed to co-exist peacefully in the same house and they both have their own purr-sonal space,” said Rachel.
Initially, Chloe was indeed a friendly cat, one that absolutely loved meeting new cats and people. However, Rachel believes that Chloe has fallen prey to a classic case of peer pressure.
“After staying with Grey for three years, I think she got influenced by Grey’s timid behaviour. Now, both of them scramble and hide whenever I have visitors over,” beamed Rachel, who also gets a good laugh at watching her furry kitties scamper whenever company is over.

Recently, however, Chloe has developed a rather amusing morning activity that leaves Rachel in absolute stitches.
“For some reason or another, Chloe now loves to knead on my father’s tummy every morning. It’s like her morning ritual!”
For what it’s worth, at least with Chloe at home, Rachel and family can enjoy having a private masseuse at during this lockdown.
