You’d be forgiven if you mistook the cute-as-a-button Man Tou for a soft toy – and honestly, when he sits still long enough, he does look like he belongs on a shelf in a toy shop.
Genevieve says that her mother named the two-month-old Pomeranian Man Tou because well, he looks pretty much like the popular Chinese steamed bun – white, fluffy and with a tinge of brown in his fur.
Being such a little boy, Man Tou is like most other curious puppies – cheeky and intelligent, ready to greet each day with a burst of energy and excitement.
Despite his young age, Man Tou already knows how to “sit”, “stay”, “come” and “paw” on command, proving that this little beauty has brains to match.
When he isn’t spending his time looking like a soft toy in a kiddie shop, Man Tou likes to play with his own selection of soft toys.
Having a good temperament, Man Tou is also friendly and loves nothing better than so snuggle up to his humans whenever he gets the slightest chance. And with that cute face, how can anybody resist giving him a cuddle … or two? Or showering him with kisses for that matter?
Genevieve says that Man Tou is easy to care for because he’s not fussy with food and is happy to devour anything you put in his bowl. His current favourite is the dog food he is fed – no complaints there.
Despite being able to easily pass off as a high-and-mighty pooch with a preference for the finer things in life, Man Tou is however endearingly down to earth – he prefers nothing better than sprawling out on the cold, hard floor for a snooze rather than curling up to sleep in the soft and fluffy bed Genevieve bought for him.
Although a happy-go-lucky sort of guy, Man Tou does run for his life when he hears people shouting. So, no raised voices around this pretty pooch, please!
He’s also afraid of going to the vet and having a bath, two things he shares with most other doggoes. But other than these, Man Tou is bonny and bright and happy to share his life with his new family.
