
Speaking after the election, Najeeb said his greatest challenge would be to raise the performance of the national squad.

Former MTBC president Dr PS Nathan, who was also the founder, relinquished his post in May after 50 years in office. He died aged 90 on Sept 22.
The remaining members of the leadership team were all retained unopposed, with Amateur Bowling Association of Sarawak president Sunny Si elected as deputy president.
The five vice-presidents are national bowling legend Shalin Zulkifli (central south), Hidzir Ahmad (north), Mazlan Said (central south), Zamzuriadi Shamsuddin (east) and Rozainny Sham Talip (East Malaysia).
Choo Yew Kuen is honorary treasurer and Maradona Chok is secretary.
