TURIN: Juventus earned a 2-0 advantage over Lazio in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semifinal on Tuesday when forwards Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic both scored for Massimiliano Allegri’s side in the second half.
Chiesa gave Juventus the lead five minutes after the break when he profited from a neat vertical pass by Andrea Cambiaso to strike from the edge of the box low inside the right post.
Vlahovic doubled the advantage in the 64th minute, netting into the bottom far corner.
Fiorentina host Atalanta in the other semifinal on Wednesday. The return legs will be played on April 23 and 24.
