SHEFFIELD:
A late Simon Adingra double capped a 5-0 win for Brighton & Hove Albion at bottom side Sheffield United, who played most of Sunday’s Premier League match with 10 men after Mason Holgate was sent off.

Facundo Buonanotte and Danny Welbeck scored early in the first half after Holgate, who joined United this month on loan from Everton, got his marching orders in the 13th minute following a knee-high challenge on Kaoru Mitoma.

Mitoma’s cross was put through his own goal by Jack Robinson in the 75th before Adingra scored twice within seven minutes to seal Brighton’s first Premier League away win since November.

Brighton, in seventh place with 38 points, host Everton on Saturday, while United have 13 points ahead of their trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers next Sunday.
