The move was announced by the Japanese third division (J3 League) club today.
“(Luqman) has decided to join (YSCC) on a long-term transfer,” the club said in a post on Instagram today.
Luqman also replied to the post, expressing his excitement at being given the opportunity to join YSCC.
“I am so happy to finally sign for YSCC. YSCC is a great club and I feel very comfortable here. I can’t wait to get started and do my very best for the club. Let’s get (down) to work,” he said.
He had previously been on loan at Njardvik FC in Iceland’s first division but has since seen his contract come to an end.
Luqman joined up with the national Under-23 squad (U-23) in December for friendly matches in China but he was unable to play due to injury.
