
They recorded 299.85 points at the Sandwell Aquatics Centre to finish behind Maddison Keeney-Anabelle Luce Smith of Australia (316.53 points). Bronze went to Canadian pair Margo Claire Erlam-Mia Jolie Doucet Vallee (297.00 points).
An elated Wendy, who had participated at three Commonwealth Games, said: “I’m grateful and proud to have Dhabitah as my partner and we are proud of ourselves.”
Dhabitah added: “Our performance was really good. At the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest last month it was not like that.”
Dhabitah-Wendy partnered for the first time in more than a year to score 282.45 points and finished sixth in Hungary.
Dhabitah will return to the pool later with Pandelela Rinong in the women’s 10m platform synchro.
