KUALA LUMPUR: Men’s doubles pair Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik ousted compatriots Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani 21-13, 21-15 to check into the final of the Badminton Asia Championships (BAC) in Manila, the Philippines.
The fifth-seeded duo took just 29 minutes to overcome their eight-seeded compatriots in the semifinal.
Aaron-Wooi Yik will take on either Fajar Alfian-Muhammad Rian Ardianto or Pramudya Kusumawardana-Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan, both pairs from Indonesia, in tomorrow’s final.
