KUALA LUMPUR:
National mixed pair Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing advanced to the Korea Open final after defeating Indonesia’s Rinov Rivaldy-Pithas Haningtyas Mentari today.

Kian Meng-Pei Jing, who last appeared in a world series final at the 2019 Singapore Open, beat the sixth seeds 21-13, 22-20 at the Palma Stadium in Suncheon in 46 minutes.

They cruised through the opening game, but the Indonesians fought hard to force a decider in the second.
