In the men’s singles WH1 (wheelchair) category final, Muhammad Ikhwan Ramli defeated Frenchman David Toupe 23-21, 21-3, according to the Badminton World Federation’s (BWF) official website.
Meanwhile, Noor Azwan Noorlan secured the men’s singles WH2 after overpowering Rick Cornell Hellmann 18-21, 21-18, 21-12 in the match that lasted one hour and seven minutes.
However, Didin Taresoh had to be satisfied with second place after losing to Nagar Krishna of India 17-21, 18-21 in the combined SH6 (standing/short stature) classifications.
