Men’s fours team beats Brunei to clinch SEA Games title.

NEW CLARK CITY:
National lawn bowlers ended their Manila SEA Games campaign on an excellent note after winning their fourth gold medal today.

On the final day, Malaysia added one gold in men’s fours and bronze in women’s triples.

Idham Amin, Daeng Dhadyry Dahasry, Zulhilmie Redzuan and Fairul Izwan Muin recorded a comfortable 24-6 win over Brunei after 13 ends to triumph.

The trio of Auni Fathiah Kamis, Zuraini Khalid and Azlina Arshad also beat Brunei 17-15 for their third-place finish. Singapore took gold by overcoming host nation Philippines 16-13 in the final.

For the record, Malaysia already had three gold (men’s triples, women’s pairs, women’s fours) and a bronze in the bag before today’s action.
