Bryce Collins’ side went two up via Moss Jackson’s 19th minute field goal and Max Wyndham Smith’s attempt four minutes later.
Benji Edwards pushed the Kiwis further ahead when he converted two penalty corners in the 26th and 33rd minutes.
Dylan Thomas struck goal No 5 in the 45th minute before Edwards completed his hattrick with another penalty corner two minutes later to complete the rout.
Nur Saiful Zaini’s boys are still waiting for their first win after a 1-1 draw with Australia two days ago and 4-2 loss to India in the opening match on Saturday.
