RIO DE JANEIRO: Right-back Edilson slammed home a free kick from 35 metres out to give Cruzeiro a share of the points in a 1-1 draw with Botafogo in Rio de Janeiro on Wednesday.

Internacional lead the table with 46 points from 22 games, 14 more than Cruzeiro and 20 ahead of Botafogo.
