PFAM secretary Ahmad Fauzi Saari, in a statement, stressed that the issue of salaries is a very sensitive matter and any leak in the information is an invasion of a player’s privacy.
He said the action was unprofessional and against the value of integrity as well as the principles of professionalism of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and the Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP).
“It can threaten the security of players and their families.
“The situation is worsened if the information displayed is not true, which would affect the players concerned negatively,” said Fauzi today.
In this regard, Fauzi said PFAM was demanding quick action by the authorities against the individuals concerned to avoid a repeat of the incident.
A list of Kedah players’ salaries was uploaded on Facebook by several individuals today.
