PETALING JAYA: Firefighters are searching for a 10-year-old boy believed to have been swept away by currents at Sungai Selisek near Kampung Sungai Nilam in Hulu Selangor today.
The Selangor fire and rescue department said the Kuala Kubu Baru fire station received an alert at 1.40pm and deployed a team of five personnel to the scene.
It said the team reached the location at 2.35pm after travelling about 40km.
The search operation is ongoing.
