Police have launched an investigation into an incident that claimed the lives of three Petronas contractors at its Sepat floating storage and offloading facility in the waters of Kuala Terengganu yesterday afternoon.

Kuala Terengganu police chief Azli Noor said officers from the criminal investigation department were looking into the incident which occurred at the facility about 150m off the coast, Bernama reported.
