PKR said the Teras system, the brainchild of deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar, was developed to support the party’s entire campaign system, from voter data management to field work and targeted communications.
The data-driven system was designed to last beyond one election cycle and continue to survive beyond individual or leadership transitions, the party said in a statement.

PKR said pilot tests conducted last month in two locations showed strong potential in mapping voter sentiment, although improvements are still needed in aspects such as automatic data verification.
The system also showed a high level of responsiveness during the test, with the ability to quickly address technical issues, thus allowing campaign managers to focus more on strategic planning and fieldwork rather than administrative matters.
