KUALA LUMPUR:
Following his keirin gold medal yesterday, national track cyclist Azizulhasni Awang won the bronze medal in the men’s individual sprint event at the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Perth today.

He defeated Israeli cyclist Mikhail Yakovlev 2-0 in the third-fourth place decider for his second medal at the World Cup, after losing to Matthew Richardson of Great Britain 2-0 in the semifinal. Richardson went on to win the individual sprint event, beating Australian Leigh Hoffman 2-0 in the final.
