
PETALING JAYA: The prices of RON97, non-subsidised RON95 petrol and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will be reduced by two sen in the coming week in line with fluctuations in global oil prices, says the finance ministry.
In a statement, it said the price of RON97 will go down to RM3.26 per litre, and non-subsidised RON95 to RM2.63 per litre.
Diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will go down to RM3.08 per litre, while it will retail at the subsidised price of RM2.15 per litre in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan.
These prices will be in effect until Dec 3.
The retail price of RON95 petrol under the BUDI95 programme remains unchanged at RM1.99 per litre.
The ministry said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends.
It also said it will continue to take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s welfare and wellbeing.
