PETALING JAYA:
DAP Youth chief Woo Kah Leong has denied uploading a post mocking the PAS spiritual adviser, and criticised Selangor PAS Youth of being dishonest with its accusation that he had politicised Hashim Jasin’s hospitalisation.

Yesterday, Selangor PAS Youth had accused Woo of posting a doctored picture of Hashim lying on a hospital bed with a loaf of bread, as if to mock the spiritual leader.

The wing handed over a memorandum to DAP headquarters yesterday and demanded that Woo issue a public apology and delete the post from all social media.

However, Woo said today he had never published such a post. Although he had criticised PAS, the statement had been issued on Nov 19, some four days before news reports that Hashim had been warded in hospital.

Woo demanded an immediate apology and retraction from Selangor PAS Youth. “And if they do not retract these slanderous claims, I will not hesitate to take legal action,” he said in a statement this evening.

Earlier today, Perak DAP Youth accused Selangor PAS Youth of spinning facts to confuse the public.
