PETALING JAYA:
Optimal Home (MM2H) Sdn Bhd has forged a strategic partnership with Zurich-based Strategic Swiss Partners (SSP) to strengthen international collaboration in promoting Malaysia as a destination for families, global investors, and professionals seeking long-term residence.

Optimal Home is a licensed agency for the Malaysian Premium Visa programme (PViP) and Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme, approved by the tourism, arts and culture ministry as well as the immigration department.

The company is part of the Hans Group, a licensed company secretary and trust company based in Labuan and Dubai.

The partnership allows SSP, a boutique management and financial advisory firm, to actively promote Malaysia as a preferred destination within the European market.

The partnership agreement was signed by Optimal Home director Akbal Yunos and SSP CEO Guna Mahalingam, with Tourism Malaysia’s international promotion division director Akbal Setia as witness.

Akbal Yunos said the collaboration would help attract global investors by merging European expertise with Malaysia’s business and lifestyle appeal.

“This partnership bridges international networks and supports Malaysia’s vision of becoming a global hub for investment and long-term relocation,” he said.

SSP managing partner Felix Sutter said the partnership went beyond a business agreement, describing it as a bridge between Switzerland and Malaysia built on friendship, trust, and shared opportunities.

“I know how much this country has to offer, from its culture and hospitality to the quality of life. With this partnership, we want to make it easier, more transparent and more personal for Europeans to call Malaysia their second home,” he said.

In conjunction with the ceremony, Hans contributed RM100,000 to the Media Prima-NSTP Humanitarian Fund, supporting initiatives such as Bersamamu, Project Love, and Metro Prihatin.

Hans has a long-standing commitment to philanthropy, with regular contributions to the Star Foundation, Nanyang Foundation, and Sin Chew Foundation.
