Sinar Harian reported that the body of the 18-year-old private college student was found on the fifth-floor level of the building at about 7am.
Nilai police chief Abdul Malik Hasim said the body was discovered by the public, who called for an ambulance.
“A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim lived in the residential area with a fellow countryman,” he was quoted as saying.
A forensic examination by the Negeri Sembilan police forensics department found no suspicious injuries, aside from bleeding from the ears, and skin rashes.
Malik said no personal belongings were reported missing from the student’s residence.
He said the body was sent to Hospital Rembau for a post-mortem, and the case has been classified as sudden death for now.
