Port Dickson district police chief Maslan Udin said police received information about the discovery at about 7.55pm.
He said the deceased was about 164cm tall, weighed around 64kg, had short grey hair and fair skin, and was wearing dentures.
“The man was found fully clothed in a black T-shirt with vertical stripes and horizontally striped sleeves, and green shorts. No identification documents were found on him,” he said in a statement today.
Maslan added that a physical examination of the body revealed no sign of injury or criminal elements.
The body was sent to Port Dickson Hospital for a post-mortem on Monday, and fingerprint analysis was conducted to identify the next-of-kin, although the attempt was unsuccessful.
Maslan said the case had been classified as sudden death, and that further investigations were ongoing.
Police are still working to locate the deceased’s next-of-kin, and urge anyone who has lost a family member to contact Port Dickson police station chief Rowi Hasan at 019-666 6652/06-647 2222 or visit the nearest police station.
